ABS-GF25 Filament Advantage
Cross Section of Filament
ABS-GF25:
Outer Layer - High bond strength ABS resin
Inner Layer - High content glass fiber filling
QIDI TECH uses a special multi-layer co-extrusion technology to design the consumables into an inner and outer double-layer structure. The inner layer is ABS resin filled with 25% high content glass fiber, and the outer layer is bonded ABS resin. The double-layer structure is retanined when the consumables are extruded from the nozzle.
ABS-GF:
Uniform distribution of glass fibers
The ABS-GF filament is a 10% glass-filled ABS resin made by conventional extrusion technology, and the glass fibers are evenly distributed inside the filament.
Smoother Filament Surface
ABS-GF25:
The ABS resin wrapped around the outer layer greatly reduces the floating fiber phenomenon on the surface of the model, making the printed parts feel smoother.
ABS-GF:
The glass fiber that spills out of the filament forms burrs on the surface of the model.

High Interlayer Bonding Strength
ABS-GF25 filament has an interlayer bonding strength of 3OMPa in the Z-axis direction. ABS-GF25 filament is coated with a layer of pure ABS resin with high bonding strength on top of the glass fiber content increased to 25%, thus retaining the original frosted texture and warp resistance of ABS-GF material while further improving the interlayer bonding performance of the material and solving the problem of weakened interlayer strength of ordinary ABS-GF filament.
Vacuum Aluminum Foil Packaging
According to the test, the water vapor transmission rate of ordinary sealed packaging is 4.76%, while the water vapor transmission rate of vacuum aluminum foil packaging we use is only 0.014%. It can be seen that vacuum aluminum foil packaging is more water-resistant.

- What is ABS-GF25 Filament? - ABS-GF25 Filament is a special type of material used for 3D printing. It is strong and sturdy, making it perfect for creating durable models. This filament combines ABS, a commonly used plastic, with glass fiber, which helps make the final printed objects tougher and less likely to break.
- How do I use ABS-GF25 Filament? - Using ABS-GF25 Filament is like using other types of filament but with a few extra steps. First, make sure your 3D printer is set up correctly. You need to have the right temperature settings; usually, it works best at a high temperature. Also, ensure your printer's bed is properly prepared to help the filament stick during printing.
- What are the benefits of using ABS-GF25 Filament? - The main benefits of using ABS-GF25 Filament are its strength and durability. Objects printed with this filament can withstand lower and higher temperatures compared to standard plastic. This makes it ideal for items that need to handle some stress or friction, like toys, tools, or even car parts.
- Can I paint objects made with ABS-GF25 Filament? - Yes! You can paint objects made from ABS-GF25 Filament. Once your project is printed and cooled down, you can use acrylic paints or spray paints to customize your 3D prints. Just make sure to clean the surface before applying paint for the best results!
- Is ABS-GF25 safe to use? - Yes, ABS-GF25 is safe when used correctly. However, it's important to print with good ventilation as the process can release some fumes. It's always a good idea to use your 3D printer in a well-ventilated room and to wear a mask if you feel sensitive to any smells.
- What kind of projects can I make with ABS-GF25 Filament? - You can make a wide variety of projects with ABS-GF25 Filament! From toys and household items to prototypes and mechanical parts, this filament is versatile. Just think of something strong and useful—this filament can help you create it!
- How do I store ABS-GF25 Filament? - To keep your ABS-GF25 Filament in good shape, store it in a cool and dry place. It's best to keep it away from moisture because that can make it less effective for printing. Some users like to keep their filament in sealed bags or containers to protect it.
- What colors does ABS-GF25 Filament come in? - ABS-GF25 Filament generally comes in various colors, including black and other vibrant options. The color you choose can affect the look of your final print, so pick one that matches your project or your personal style!
- Where can I buy ABS-GF25 Filament? - You can purchase ABS-GF25 Filament from our online stores, and you can choose the color and quantity that you need.
- Can ABS-GF25 Filament be used in all 3D printers? - Although many 3D printers can use ABS-GF25 Filament, it's essential to check if your 3D printer is compatible first. Some printers may require specific settings or modifications to handle this type of filament properly.
