Say Goodbye to Print Failures
Super sticky coating designed for PLA and PETG filaments can provide good adhesion to the printer and effectively improve print success rate. No adhesive is required, the bottom of the print is still smooth and stable, and the bottom of the print is reduced when printing large objects.
Eliminating Adhesion Issues
QIDI cool plate is suitable for surfaces with bad shape surface. It can still provide super strong adhesion with a small contact area. It avoids the situation where the prints are scattered all over the floor when removing the printing plate.

How to remove prints from Cool Plate
Use the scrapper included with your printer to gently lift the print, then pry it off carefully. If the print is stuck too tightly, wait for the print plate to cool before removing it. The surface is soft. Be careful when using a scraper to remove printed parts.
About the Maintenance of QIDI Cool Plate
You can clean the surface with water and detergent if heavy dirt appears. DO NOT use organic solvents (especially acetone) to clean the build plate, as it will damage the surface adhesive layer. The QIDI PLA Silk material exhibits strong adhesion on the QIDI Cool Plate, which may damage printed models. Therefore, we do not recommend using Silk material on the QIDI Cool Plate. For users printing with third-party PLA Silk materials, please select the Generic PLA Silk preset in QIDI Studio and evaluate material compatibility based on the specific conditions.

QIDI Build Plate Cleaning Guide
- What is the QIDI Cool Plate? - The QIDI Cool Plate is a special surface designed for 3D printing, particularly with PLA and PETG materials. It helps prints stick to the heated surface while also making it easy to remove finished prints without damaging them.
- How does the Cool Plate work? - The Cool Plate uses a super sticky coating to hold your 3D prints securely. This means you don't need any extra glue or adhesive to keep your print in place while it’s being made. It’s built to give you great results every time!
- What temperatures should I use with the Cool Plate? - For PLA, it's best to heat the Cool Plate to around 45°C, and for PETG, aim for about 70°C. This helps ensure that your prints stick well while they're being made.
- How do I remove the print from the Cool Plate? - To take your print off the Cool Plate, use a scraper gently to lift it up. If it's stuck, wait for the plate to cool down a bit first. Remember to be careful so you don’t damage your print or the plate!
- Can I clean the Cool Plate? - Yes, you can clean the Cool Plate using warm water and mild soap if it gets dirty. It's important not to use strong chemicals like acetone, as they can harm the surface.
- Will the Cool Plate work with other materials? - The QIDI Cool Plate is specifically made for PLA and PETG. Using silk PLA materials is not recommended because it may stick too well, potentially damaging your print.
- What size prints can I make with the Cool Plate? - The QIDI Cool Plate comes in two sizes: 305mm by 305mm or 245mm by 245mm. This allows you to create reasonably large projects while maintaining good print quality.
- How do I maintain the Cool Plate? - Regular cleaning and avoiding strong chemicals will keep your Cool Plate in good shape. Be gentle when removing prints to prolong the life of the plate.
- Where can I buy the QIDI Cool Plate? - You can purchase the QIDI Cool Plate directly from our QIDI Tech online store. It is shipped from various regions, including the US and EU.
